YSGOL PEN-BRE (Pembrey School)
CARMARTHENSHIRE

Situated adjacent to the old school, this exciting new building was delivered by a local contractor TRJ – T Richard Jones (Betws) Ltd. The purpose-built school includes classroom provision for children aged 3-11 years, a Flying Start community hub, Art, Design, and Food Technology specialist areas, and a library space. Work has begun on the next Phase which includes the introduction of a new Sports Pitch, a Multiuse Games Arena as well as large landscaped play spaces including 2 outdoor classrooms.
ABERCONWAY STUDENT HUB

This development brings new and innovative facilities to the Aberconway building at Cardiff Business School. This project reflects the University’s commitment to fostering a thriving student community. The extensive scope of the project provides a high spec, refurbished building which includes teaching spaces, post-graduation study spaces with ancillary breakout areas. As well as a new external canopy and associated landscaping.

We are proud to be the electrical engineering contractor for Jones Brothers (Henllan) on this high-profile project. The high-quality detached RYB1 unit comprises of manufacturing or production space with a two-storey open-plan office accommodation and a dedicated secure service yard and loading area. It has been built to BREEAM Excellent standards and designed to minimise embodied carbon within its structure.

The design and construction of a 420-pupil primary school, built to BREEAM excellent for energy and very good overall. The two-storey building comprises of nursery, reception and infant classrooms on the ground floor, with junior classrooms located on the first floor. It features contemporary architecture and a range of amenities accessible to the public. The school is a first of its kind for Wales, providing a dual language stream and a Welsh-medium stream.
